Number one: Be healthy.
Road warriors can burn themselves out, so know how to relax and take care of yourself regardless of the environment.
If you're a road who flies learn the tricks and tips around avoiding jet lag.
Number two: Stay connected to your family and friends. Leave them notes. Make use of social media and plan for social times when you are not on the road.
And finally keep things simple and uncluttered.
